Unity might only just recently have started to work on regaining the trust of the game industry after last year‘s publicity fiasco, with leadership changes and the release of Unity 6 being almost brand new. But the game industry is already, or probably rather still, reliant on the software. With 65.2 per cent of companies using it, Unity takes rank two, only surpassed by Unreal with 71.7 per cent.
